Simonside Hill
The best walk is The Simonside Hill walk- you can stretch the walk to about 7 miles if you walk along the outer paths.

Blanchland
you can easily stretch this walk to about 7 miles when taking in the moor (access land= lead) and the Derwent water. The best thing about it is Blanchland itself which is stunning and has an ancient Inn that is dog friendly.

Causey Arch
Not able to stretch it much further than 5 miles but the walk is so divers and leads you through a lot of different sceneries.

Red kite trail
This is only 7 miles but can be stretched easily to 11 miles. Through lush and never-ending woodland on sometimes muddy paths. lush at anytime of the year and one of our regulars (not the whole 11 miles thought).
