Darn it I was supposed to go see one of the international junior handlers but didnt realise it was the ticket only bit I looked several times but couldnt find when it was ... thanks for posting it Wendy, at least I wont be hunting in vain

Been catching up with this on more4 at night. We were on the Discover Dogs stand Friday and had a fabulous day, then spotted Dunc and Mazie on the telly last night. (It was only a glimpse of them, they were following the Afghans that were filmed walking in). It was quieter than I expected but maybe the credit crunch is biting here too. People weren't carrying much stuff around either so the stalls must have been having a quiet day as well.

Roll on gundog day, the ringside 'chatter' seemed to think it would be the Lab or the Vizla this year, so we'll see.

The tiny bit of Crufts I have managed to see had all the rare breeds in the ring. It interesting to watch. I was suprised that the field spaniel has a rescue section when it's a rare breed.

They are lovely dogs, if one was up for rescue I might even be able to persude K
