Dorothy Shall

Postby bunduki » Sat Mar 13th, 2010 8:08 pm

It is with great sadness I have to announce the death of Dorothy Shall (Langhaar) She had battled with Breast Cancer for seven years
Many of you will not know her but she has has owned three Weimars over the years Her first dog was a longhaired carrier. Her second was a longhaired bitch which she took on from the breeder at six months & trained her to field standard gaining several COM's & third place Dorothy mated Fritz & Flicka & later kept their grandson Buzz a lovely free flowing hunting dog sadly at this time she was diagnosed with breast cancer so was never able to fulfill her dream of field trialling him but was delighted that one of his progeny has proved to be the highest placed Longhair in Working Trials namely Allyson Tohme's bitch Twiggy/
Margarita
The above are my personal views and not necessarily those of the WCGB

Very sad news - I remember meeting Dorothy at one of Allyson's Cllicker Training Days. RIP Dorothy and sympathy to her family.

It is indeed very sad news, she fought a long and hard battle :-(

I met Dorothy at Crufts many years ago. Buzz, Langhaar Lightyear, is Callie's father and a lovely dog.
