My two have those, it's great for when Enzo has to be on the extending lead because it acts as a shock absorber and stops him pulling my back.

Forgot to say the padding on the chest strap is useless because it's not long enough to go under both legs so ends up all at one end. I took it off eventually because the strap doesn't get close enough to his armpits to rub.

Thanks Sarah, it needs a bit of adjustment. It's actually pressing on one of her fatty lumps, so I will have to try some tightening. It will actually be better for Holly as she has quite a sensitive neck and coughs when she pulls on her collar.
Will try and get a leather harness for Rossi at Crufts.

When did you get it from? I could do with one of those for Summer.

Fleabay I think. Sue got one for Mugi and I saw it on him in a photo so ordered two, but one was too big and I did a swap with Sue. I'm not sure if they still sell them. They are called Eurohike K9 KIT.

When Enzo had the lump removed from his neck he couldn't wear a collar so it came in very handy then. It also missed the wound from the one on his chest and elbow. Enzo hates it of course.

Annette told me what make it was, a Eurohike K9-Kit. I googled it and came up with a harness that had finished on Ebay and not been sold.
I emailed the seller to see if it was still available for sale. The sellers user name contained the word 'weim' and she replied and signed her message Mandy. I asked if she was Mandy from weim.tv and she said yes  Small world isn't it.
Mandy had bought the harness for Bracken, but it interfered with his boy bits  It fits ok on Holly cos she doesn't have any boy bits  It fits Rossi cos he is bigger than Bracken and his boy bits are further back cos he has a longer body.
The harness was originally sold in Millets, but I couldn't see them on their website. You may find one in one their shops though. The size is large, Rossi is 27in to shoulder and about 26-27 body length. Holly is 24in along the back and 25in to shoulder. It still needs adjusting, so should fit Summer if she is an average weim sized bitch. Infact it would probably also fit a much bigger dog, I am going to have to trim the straps back.

I haven't found the Eurohike harnesses around much at all now - I have defected to the more expensive but lush Ruffwear harness ( http://www.ruffwear.com/Web-Master-Harness ) for long walking expeditions on lead for Chase. Brice has a Perfect Fit, Hope currently has a Dog-Games waiting for her but the regular style not Perfect Fit and Piper doesn't have one at all.

Sue that was an American site. Found the harnesses in the UK, but all sizes seem to be out of stock.

I just pulled that up as an example Chris as it was the first hit I found on the name earlier and I was heading out. I got theirs from here http://www.canine-spirit.com/master_pro ... er-harness - for the Brittany I have small. These people http://www.camddwrcanine.co.uk I am sure have a stand at Crufts and also sell it so you may be able to look at a medium and a large together. My gut feeling would probably err to a medium unless the dog was huge.

Oh and you can comfortably lift a 22kg dog over a barbed wire fence while wearing one (well comfortably for the dog at any rate  ).

Ann and Stuart should have the stand at Crufts and are very helpful!

I do like the look of the Ruffwear harness, will have to save some pennies up and buy one for Bracken. He may be a very fit and athletic dog but when it comes to getting over/under/through styles and fences he's a right wuss. :-]

I believe the Eurohike harness is now discontinued. :(
