Weimaraner Association Agility Show

Postby emmasin » Fri Feb 5th, 2010 5:30 pm

This is the second year of the Weimaraner Association running a special ABC (anything but collies) show

I missed it last year as it clashes with a really nice show but we are going this year

Anyone else going?

22nd/23rd May at Winterton Agricultural Showground in Lincolnshire

I'll be there. Janet made sure it didn't clash with any of the big shows this year.

Handle all stressfull situtations the way your dog would.....
If you cant eat it or hump it, pee on it and walk away!

C is feeling better so we drove up to the show today.

Had a great time catching up with the weimy folks :D Also nice to meet some of the other people who run weimys in the south as peoples paths don't cross that much between the north and the south.

It was absolutley roasting and I am feeling a bit worse for wear having been out in the sun all day, lots of people left early or didn't run their dogs today due to the heat :( the car themometre was saying 31.5 degrees!

Great show run by Clive and Janet Hudson  and lovely to queue and relax with no collies about

Was pleased with some of Campbells runs today and Mully was well behaved around the rings and met lots of people which was good. Both coped with the heat pretty well today, but hope it cools a bit for the next show (never happy)

So great for the Weimaraner Association to put such a great show for the ABC's

I can't believe any dog would run in this heat unless you hosed them down beforehand!

Glad it was a good day :) I took Kodi dog training from 10am to 11am and we ended up leaving the tennis courts and doing our stays etc under a cluster of trees instead.

Why are some shows ABC?
