Without NSAID's millions of people and their pets would be unable to live normal lives. Side effects are inevitable and it is a sad 'side effect' of the internet that we hear of the problems and little about the success stories.

Joe has been prescribed metcam today but due to the fact that the problem was due to a large swelling/cyst at the injection site she decided that he should take it orally as a liquid. He always has a swelling after innoculations but this one was massive and began to ooze/weep profusely this morning from the injection site therefore we ended up in the vets again!

my dog sometimes get Metacam, because it is popular non-steroidal anti-inflammatory. My vet says that it is completely safe for the digestive system. Never had the slightest abnormality after, and after injection, lump are very common in weimaraner.... I think it's the "noble origin"
