:( my poor guy now has a poorly tongue which is making it difficult for him to eat. K took him back to the vets again as I was at uni. The vet is baffled as she said his tongue looks serrated, as if he's been licking the floor. We know tha`t hasn't happened, he came home from the hospital with it but we hoped it would be better today but it's worse. They have to wait until tomorrow to speak to the manufacturers to ask if there is any chance he could have had a reaction to the enzyme supplement!

He is still bright enough though.

Poor lad. :-s: to Blue. Glad he is bright though. Wonder if he could have caught it on something in the crate at the vets?

We pureed his food so he was more comfortable eating his breakfast. :) He is also a little sore with so many injections, we are trying to avoid the scruff of the neck area as that seems to be the most sensitive.

We had another unsettled night, he seems to be at his worst around 8.30/9pm to about 12/1pm and then settles better in the early hours. We are still camping in the living room as it's easier to manage him for going out.

We are all knackered though but despite his tiredness Blue is still trying to be perky for us, we are still about a 6 on his happiness scale, K said he seems a little subdued at the moment but thinks it's his tiredness and he is still drinking a lot on occasions.

:( He's not so happy now, just spoken to K and he said his eyes are a bit puffy and he's isn't as happy as he was this morning. K is watching him like a hawk as the two times he's had fits have been in the afternoon. Fingers crossed he's just not feeling great and doesn't get any worse.

The vet is still waiting to hear from the manufacturer to see if there are any known cases of reacting to the enzyme supplement.
